Transformations
To me, life IS transformation: change, flow. But where is it going?
“Built”
My friend Wendy had a pile of beautiful salvaged bricks in her driveway. I knew I had to build something from those old bricks. I’m fascinated by old ruined things - especially walls.
What is the self that we build? What is the mind, the body? As we build, are we increasing our power or separating ourselves from our own unlimited nature?
A Course in Miracles says this about the body:
“The body is a fence the Son of God imagines he has built, to separate parts of his Self from other parts. It is within this fence he thinks he lives, to die as it decays and crumbles. For within this fence he thinks that he is safe from love. Identifying with his safety, he regards himself as what his safety is. How else could he be certain he remains within the body, keeping love outside?”
What are you building that keeps you prisoner?

"At Last" Learning to recognize ourselves - who and what we truly are, what we are capable of - seems to me the point of being aware. And we can't do it alone.
"Built" Do our minds expand us, or restrict us? What is it, exactly, that we build with our minds?
